Summary Statement:Working with a diverse team, you will play an
integral role in designing, developing, and supporting our business
critical applications, while mentoring associate engineers on
software development best practices in an effort to deliver our
next generation of innovative applications to our customersCatalyst

unique needs. In this role, you will support Catalyst AI and all
the future generations of the product. Working with a diverse team,
you will lead the technical design of complex components that
support our business critical applications, while mentoring other
developers on best practices in an effort to deliver our next
generation of innovative solutions to our customers.What You Will
Be Doing:As an Angular Developer (Software Engineer I), you will
participate in all aspects of the Software Development lifecycle by
supporting existing software development efforts and
troubleshooting issues as they occur while also developing new
software modules across multiple small to medium projects
concurrently. You will have an opportunity to lead the design of
certain software components and suggest new products, applications
and features based on industry and technological trends and
advances. You will also consult with process owners in reviewing,
interpreting & developing systems in accordance with user
requirements. Finally, you will get an opportunity to work with a
diverse team and mentor junior software engineers.Ideal candidates
will have 5-7 years' developing applications with experience in the
following areas:Angular (v2.0 or Greater)Typescript, HTML/HTML5,
CSS, JavaScriptResponsive/Adaptive Design Experience (Desktop and
Mobile)Project Lead/Technical Project ManagementReviewing code from
junior level and/or offshore/remote programmers or external
vendorsSystems monitoring and general support of applicationIn
addition, it would be a plus if the candidate also had experience
with:Java, React, JQuery, Spring, myBatis, WebServices/Restful API,
XML/JSONRelational Database DesignOracle, iSeries DB2, and MS SQL
Server database experienceSQL - Experience in writing optimized
complex SQL statementsNodeJS, Swagger, PostmanGulp, Maven, GIT,
BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, ArtifactoryUMLSplunk or other
log analyzersElastic SearchMicrosoft Office and VisioPenske
Responsibilities:Be the primary contact and lead support associate
for multiple applicationsPlay a critical role in supporting the
application lifecycle (design, develop, test, release and support)
based on detailed requirements and guidance from senior
engineers/leadsCollaborate with technical/business leaders and
product owners to acquire and understand requirements / acceptance
criteriaDevelop, maintain, test, analyze performance, troubleshoot
/ fix applications and applicable codeSupport mission critical
applications and assist in the resolution of customer issuesDesign
backend database schemasProduce deliverables with clean,
well-documented and easily maintainable code that adheres to
defined coding standardsWrite unit / UI tests to identify defects
and leverage CI/CD for building and deploying codeTriage production
issues and work with multiple teams to perform problem
analysisAssign and review tasks from junior and offshore software
engineersParticipate in conducting new hire interviewsInfluence the
discovery and decision-making process when changes to standards and
technology are required (tools, conventions and design
patterns)Provides support to the business by responding to user
questions, concerns, and issues (for example, technical
feasibility, implementation strategiesAssign and monitor tasks to
junior and offshore team membersProvides support to the business by
responding to user questions, concerns, and issues (for example,
technical feasibility, implementation strategies)Other projects as
assignedPenske Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent years of software
development experience5-7 years' experience of appropriate
programming languagesKnowledge of technical project
managementKnowledge of appropriate design frameworks and patterns
and experience in implementing them in software
developmentKnowledge of industry wide technology strategies and
best practicesExperience in relational database designKnowledge and
experience of the agile software development methodologyAbility to
troubleshoot and resolve issuesAbility to research emerging
software development frameworks and toolsAbility to estimate and
medium to large sized projectsExcellent communication and
interpersonal skillsKnowledge of full software development
lifecycleSome background in DevOps Tools and automationRegular,
