What is Pike Labs?Pike Labs helps experts host online extracurricular programs for high school students to explore their passion in STEM. We do that by building an online marketplace that connects ambitious high schoolers to expert led programs in their area of interest.
We are a mission-driven start-up dedicated to expanding access to quality education across the United States with our small, pre-seed funded team operating out of Brooklyn, NY.
About the roleWe're looking for an instructor to design and teach an 8-week live, online program in computer science or artificial intelligence for a 6-10 student cohort.
We are not looking for an employee - we want someone interesting building and hosting their unique course for high schoolers on our platform built around their niche area of expertise.
We will help you design the program, deliver the course, and most importantly find students. You then get to keep 80% of all course revenue that the course generates (we take 20% commission for support services and hosting on the platform).
What you will do

• Design and deliver engaging online lessons that are accessible to high caliber students across the US.
• Facilitate live sessions that result in a tangible end product outcome by the end of the program, aligned with our philosophy of "make it real."
• Provide personalized feedback and mentorship to help students master complex concepts.
• Collaborate with the Pike Labs team to continuously refine and improve the program content based on student needs and feedback.
  What your program will look likeYou will be creating and teaching an online 8 week program related to computer science and/or artificial intelligence where students will do the following:
  • Mandatorily attend a twice a week class (1.5 hrs each)
  • Build a unique project that you will help scope for each student
    Your first cohort will be 6-10 students.
    Who You Are
    • You are a software engineer, ML engineer, or data scientist with an interest in education OR
    • You are a current Master's or PhD student in computer science, AI, math or a related field
    • You are inspired by our mission to make quality experiences accessible to more students.
    • You have a passion for teaching and a desire to share your knowledge with a broader audience.
    • You are eager to find innovative ways to connect your expertise to real-world applications.
