Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility is adding a Maintenance Service Engineer to our
team in Philadelphia, PA. In this role you will design, develop,
and maintain documentation systems for Engineering procedures, in
particular modifications and upgrades, either in support of
customer enquiries or in the promotion of Siemens products and
solutions, to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain change
approvals. You will be responsible for a variety of professional
engineering task.
In conjunction with Product Management colleagues, you will collect
engineering project requirements, including modifications and
upgrades, as a result of either specific enquiries or pro-active
product improvement opportunities.
This role will include being involved in semi-complex design,
development, testing and modifications of solutions. One will
participate in preparing explanations and clarifying information to
enable proper interpretation and evaluation of semi-complex
specifications, performance characteristics or other technical
data. You may perform material specification, schematic preparation
and appropriate follow-ups. One will be communicating semi-complex
technical and commercial issues and in recommending semi-complex
new designs, new processes, or design changes to meet
requirements.
This position will report to the Service Engineering Manager for
the Mobility Customer Service engineering group.
What your day-to-day will look like:
To thrive in this role, you have:
--- Setting you apart from others would be a Bachelor's degree in
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with more than 5 years of rail
experience. Product LLC (Life Cycle Costs) experience and RAMS
engineering experience would be a plus.

salary range for this position in Philadelphia, PA is
$98,300-$115,600. The actual salary/wage offered may be lower or
higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge,
skills, and qualifications.
