collaboration to meet the needs of each specific US Field Medical
Immunology & Neuroscience team.Job Description
- Develop the IMM & Neuroscience portfolio strategy including
medical scientific narrative alignment to resources across all
Immunology & Neuroscience FM teams & HO teams
- Identify and provide innovative data visualization vehicles for
Immunology field team members to utilize
- Collaborate and provide direction to AD-level FM Immunology &
Neuroscience trainers
- Director US FM Immunology & Neuroscience Portfolio Strategy and
Execution will be responsible for development, enhancement, and
pull-through of HCP engagement strategies, including proactive
resources, across Immunology & Neuroscience
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leads development and
execution of an Immunology & Neuroscience portfolio strategy plan
that is aligned with the US medical matrix teams and can be further
customized to meet specific team needsJob Responsibilities
- Build and execute the US FM Immunology & Neuroscience portfolio
strategy and identify innovative solutions to support scientific
exchange
- Oversight of TA specific and across all Immunology &
Neuroscience field medical team development
- Partner with Global Medical Scientific Communications and
Engagement (SCE) to ensure training for new resources, processes,
technology, or soft-skills for the MSL function
- Oversee Immunology & Neuroscience portfolio strategy, ensuring
accountability through institution of quality measures
- Collaborate with field and home office medical leadership, and
associated meeting planners to oversee field medical resource and
knowledge enhancement at virtual or in-person meetings
- Work with matrix stakeholders to streamline the development and
deployment of innovative resources and tactics to Immunology &
Neuroscience FM teams
- Represent Immunology & Neuroscience FM as a main point of
contact for internal stakeholders related to field medical
portfolio strategy, including resources, and execution
timelines
- Identify existing and co-create new resources from/with HOM and
commercial training where appropriate for US FM Immunology &
Neuroscience portfolio use
- Partner with HOM Team Leads, VP Field Medical, MSL Team Leads,
and FM Trainers on training needs identification and planning
- Partner with VP Field Medical to align on associated items for
resource budget forecasting
- Collaborate with VP Field Medical to provide strategic insight
to Market Research design and execution activities. Recommend and
implement IMM portfolio action plan for addressing Market Research
findings.
- Collaborate with FM Leadership across therapeutic areas to
ensure best practice, development, and knowledge sharing
- Serve as member of the Immunology & Neuroscience FM Leadership
Team, providing IMM & Neuroscience Portfolio recommendations and
follow-upRequired Qualifications
- MD, PharmD, PhD, PA, DO, DN and/or advanced nursing degree or
science graduate with field medical experience in therapeutic area
or with a broad medical background
- 5+ years clinical Immunology experience
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience as a field MSL or
similar field-based position with a proven track record of
success
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and
the ability to build and maintain internal and external
partnerships.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the
ability to manage budgets and medical communications/training
vendors as needed
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to work seamlessly
across multiple matrix teams and stakeholders
- Innovative thinker with enterprise mindset
- Training experience preferred Travel Requirement
- Travel required up to 50% of time. Position is field based.The
starting compensation for this job is a range from $ $200,000 -
$260,000 , plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on
eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account
characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the
job is performed. Final, individual compensation will be decided
based on demonstrated experience. Eligibility for specific benefits
